I am a Regional Technology Coordinator in Prince Georges County, MD, and Affiliate Faculty at Loyola University.

While I am still passionate about best practices, such as flipped/blended learning and gamification, my passion has also expanded to helping educators connect globally.  This is the rationale behind the EduMatch project, which I founded in September 2014.  The project belongs to all EduMatchers, and together we have grown it to include Voxer, guest blogging, and a weekly Twitter chat/podcast. Our newest developments are:

I love to connect with other educators, because I strongly believe that we are all experts at something, and can learn so much from each other!  Let your voice be heard, and let's all grow together :)

The Learner

I recently graduated with a PhD in International Education in December 2017; however, the learning never ends.

Much of the learning that I do, however, is not from a textbook.  It comes from inquiry and collaboration.  I feel that the way we grow as educators and people is by learning from each other. This learning is facilitated by deep connections. Over the years, I have been blessed to meet many educators around the world, many of whom have become some of my closest friends. Thank you for all you've taught me...I look forward to continued learning and growing together, as well as with all the people I have yet to meet!
